NotesVincenzo Di Carlo, 16, arrived in Sydney in 1949 aboard Ormonde in a group of 25 boys and young men as part of the Big Brother Movement. Those with farming experience were sent straight to farms in country NSW, while others went to a Big Brother training school in Liverpool for two months before being sent to farms to work.

Vincenzo (Vincent) died in 2008 aged 76, late of Terrey Hills.
